Why I have never upgraded to this site. I thought I would throw my ideas out into the pool here. To start with I cannot tell who has viewed my profile. For all I know every view could be from charming beautiful ladies who live thousands of miles away from me or are too skinny. To cut to the chase here unless I pony up the fee I cannot tell who has viewed my profile. I also cannot tell the last log on date of potential search matches. Since nobody has sent me a message and even if they did I could not read it without paying I would have no way of gauging any interest. I think the smiles are free but since I have only recieved one it is just not worth it to pay the fee. There is too much behind the curtain to want to risk it with only a two responses of a known quantity on my profile. My info says it has been viewed hundreds of times and if I knew by who I may be inticed to send out a smile and if there were to be a return of interest I would buy in to gain acces to contact the individual. Also I noticed the search tool is dreadfully slow and other sites are much Much MUCH more efficent as to the realitive speed of the search capability.
A suggestion here would to be to allow a person to see who has viewed your profile and the last log in date of persons of interest and give greater access to advanced searching of profiles for free. If I knew what I wanted was here I would buy in but since so much is of an unknown quantity I cannot buy sight unseen. Also as mentioned before a faster hamster in the search engine would be nice too
Ever been contacted by someone from Ghana or South Africa? These people are posers that usually prey on the lonely people looking for love. The tell tale signs they leave are wanting to get on yahoo chat or msn chat most use yahoo. All scammers have profiles without a picture and when they do show you a picture it is of some dazzling beauty. They have broken english and really bad spelling and grammer. Also they are completely clueless about nettiquete often leaving the caps lock on and not apologizing for accidently "yelling" let alone noticing the faux paw of nettiquete.
Don't get hooked by scammers they stick out like a turd in a punchbowl. Look out for the clues.
1.) Empty profile no pic, no info, usually dont smoke, or drink and have no kids.
2.) Scammers ask you to leave the dating service host site and go to yahoo usually in the first 10 or 15 lines of conversation.
3.) Scammers come from remote places like South Africa, Ghana, or Indonisia where there is alot of political instability.
4.) Scammers ALWAYS will ask you for money as soon as they are sure of the confidence game they are spinning has taken root.
REMEMBER.... No pic, no profile info -- NO WAY. Dont get scammed
