The nights are drawing in quicker.. it's cold when you end up falling into bed.. and flipping freezing in the morning when you get up.. the bit's in between are just cold 'cause there's no-one to snuggle into, or pinch the spot that they have warmed up. My mother brought me a hot water bottle to combat the coldness.. how are you going to "keep warm" without that other body there to warm "the spot"? ^_~

I think a heat pack will fit my needs. I have a "rice sock". I've filled a sock with rice and when it's too cold to fall asleep (I can't sleep if my feet are too cold), I warm it in the microwave and tuck it in by my feet. Works like a charm and I don't have to worry about burning my skin by sleeping on it or electrical shorts or anything. Plus, if you like the smell of rice cooking, it can be pretty relaxing... --True

Thank God I have 9 cats to keep me warm!

lol, I know what you mean.....it makes it even worse when all the Christmas love stories start coming on!
I have lots of cosy blankets, those wheat bags which smell like lavender! Slipper socks and a few very good male friends who will give me a hug once in a while :-)
It is possible to get through the winter months without a man! They say there will be a time when women wont need a man at all! hehehe ;-) less...
